Professional Biography

Fabiola Mora (she/her/ella pronouns) is an experienced DEI scholar-practitioner whose work is rooted in humanity and an ethic of love and care. She is committed to creating anti-oppressive environments by supporting organizational change efforts through intersectional, equity-centered approaches. Fabiola has engaged in equity and justice work as a consultant, higher education administrator, and faculty member. You can find Fabiola reading and writing in her free time as she is currently a fourth-year PhD student in the Higher Education Leadership program at Colorado State University. 

Specializations

Fabiola has dedicated her career to examining and addressing equity issues for minoritized students, staff, and faculty in higher education. She has worked at five different higher education institutions and her experience spans academic and student affairs areas including faculty affairs, DEI offices, student success, financial aid, multicultural services, advising, TRIO, and first year experience programs. Additionally, Fabiola has experience consulting non-profit and K-12 organizations through DEI initiatives, strategic planning, and assessment processes.
