Courtney Ngai is currently the Associate Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Artistry at Colorado State University. A chemist at heart, she has spent time studying and supporting change in STEM education and draws from this expertise in her consulting work. One of her Clifton strengths is input, and she is constantly seeking to understand and learn from those around her. What does an equitable world look like to you?

In an equitable world, people have the opportunity to pursue their full potential and are not limited by systematic or individual biases.

Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire America Ferrera, who is using her platform to elevate the stories of others and redefining what being an American looks like. Check out her book, American Like Me: Reflections on Life Between Cultures.

If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?

A beach - I miss the sand and the waves!
